Due to differences in sizes across brands, we have tried to standardise sizes which are marked as small, medium or large using the charts above. Otherwise additional guide such as 'Will fit a UK size 12' for example wherever possible.
Some countries do not size their bras with double letters such as DD and rather skip straight to size E. On the few occasions that this happens details will be provided on the product pages, however we urge you to use our sizing guides above.
Fail Safe: One Size Fits All
Our "One Size" items are great if you are unsure of her size and will comfortably fit UK sizes 8-14. We have an extensive collection of one size knickers, thongs and G-strings for you to choose from. We also have some styles available in a "One Size Plus" which will comfortable fit UK sizes 16-22. Our size guide below indicates international conversions for these sizes.
We have a variety of lingerie and swimwear items sized from XX Small to XX Large, which is great if you know what her average UK dress size is. Beautiful items such as chemises, camisole sets, nightwear and swimwear can make great gifts and are often sized in this way as each size variation offers a more flexible fit, leaving you with a greater chance of getting it right than items such as bras which need more specific size information to get the best fit.
If you have done your research and you know her bra size, you can simply use this to help you shop, as most of our bras are labelled by standard UK bra sizing, and our International conversion chart above can help our international customers.
If you are not sure of her size but you want to shop specifically for a bra, try and sneak a look at one of her favourite bras to get the size it will usually be a double digit number follower by one or two letters, i.e 34B, or 36DD. Try to check the size on bras she wears most often to have the best chance of getting it right.
Don't get caught though as you will either ruin the surprise or get into a lot of trouble!! A good way to take a peak is to offer to unload the washing machine, or take things off the line as you'll get brownie points for being so thoughtful and have an easy opportunity to look for sizes on her bra labels.
